Golf around Lockerbie is a much more relaxed affair than you may well be used to; crowded fairways and restricted tee times are rare.

There are over 30 golf courses within Dumfries and Galloway, some with some very picturesque views.

Lockerbie (less than 1 mile away)
Closest is Lockerbie Golf Club at under a mile away.Lockerbie Golf course is an eighteen hole parkland course situated on the edge of the Annandale Hills, with breathtaking views extending over the Lake District and Dumfries & Galloway.

Lochmaben (4 miles away)
Again only four miles away is Lochmaben Golf Club. The course offers a varied and testing Par 70 to golfers of all levels. Famous for its varied wildlife, picturesque views of the "Kirk Loch" and the distant Moffat hills the course presents a unique golfing experience for members and visitors alike. Visitors are welcome all year round and you will find a selection of attractive packages on offer.

Hoddom Castle (7 miles away)
Hoddom Castle has an outstanding 9 hole golf course par 33. The course is landscaped with natural woodland and man made features and is surrounded by the River Annan making it quite a challenging course.

Powfoot (14 miles away)
Powfoot Golf Course presents a mixture of both links and parkland golf of the highest standard. Designed by the legendry James Braid, winner of the Open Championship five times, in 1903 the course offers a superb test of golf with its many challenging holes which are set among whins and rough and has earned Powfoot the tag of golf's best kept secret.
